Everybody needs exercise! People who do physical labor, like movers or custodians, think they get enough exercise, but they don’t. They use only a few muscles at work. So it’s easy to injure some other part of the body.
People who sit at desks or who operate machinery should stretch every hour. Here’s a simple stretch for the back, waist, and neck: stand up, raise one arm over your head, and slowly bend to the side. Count to five and do the other side. This helps your spinal column.
Exercise should be a regular part of everyone’s life.
